Recorded October 28th, 2025

The Hospital at Home Users Group, in partnership with the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, is pleased to present our latest webinar for hospital and system leaders interested in learning about the opportunities and challenges associated with providing acute care in the home.

The government shutdown and expiry of the Acute Hospital Care at Home (ACHaH) waiver has, in the short term, impeded the operations of many Hospital at Home programs in the US. Ever innovative, many HaH program leaders are seeking alternatives, notably ambulatory models of payment and care that don’t depend on the ACHaH waiver.

This webinar features five programs from sites across the country that have developed these ambulatory models, providing ways to bolster census, serve additional populations, and, in the present moment, sustain their HaH services. Each brings a unique perspective on this model of care and a practical understanding not only of its benefits, but also the operational, regulatory and other challenges of running an outpatient HaH program.
