Scheduled for September 17th, 2026
The Hospital at Home Users Group, in partnership with the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, is pleased to present our latest webinar for hospital and system leaders interested in learning about the opportunities and challenges associated with providing acute care in the home.
As HaH programs prepare to launch or scale, some of the requirements set out in the CMS Acute Hospital Care at Home waiver may create misperceptions that can delay a program’s launch or limit its expansion.
In this webinar, Users Group leader Linda DeCherrie, MD, (DispatchHealth) will be joined by Ashby Wolfe, MD, MPP, MPH, Regional Chief Medical Officer and the lead physician supporting the Acute Hospital Care at Home Initiative at CMS. The conversation will use clinical vignettes to address common questions related to transport and EMS coordination, clarify CMS requirements related to response time, discharge and in-home visits, home safety screenings, and caregiver considerations, among other essential topics. Importantly, the discussion will also explore the importance of clinical judgment and the operational flexibility that is built into the waiver’s requirements.
This session is intended for HaH practitioners and leaders and is not open to the press.
